What you should know about Quality Print, Limited
Shawn started with Quality Print straight from College as a Sheet Fed Apprentice Printer. Diploma of Graphic Design from AUT Stephen brings to the Quality Print team a vast amount of knowledge and experience in. Supporting the community is close to our heart, and is what we are all here for. For a number of years we have used vegetable based inks and have installed a Chemical Free Platemaking Machine this has halted the need to dispose of 100 litres of spend chemicals every six months. Each week, Quality Print sends approximately 1900 litres of paper to be recycled, and less then 200 litres goes to the land fill. In 2009, Quality Print attended a Carbon Save programme which was run by Environment Waikato, this programme has contributed to some of the businesses purchasing decisions of late these are significant and were recently reported to our local council.
The Taupo Weekender,’ as it is still known today, was born and ran for a number of years until the smaller format printed at Quality Print could not be sustained. The owners of Quality Print at that stage were hard working and from the trade. Following the company going into the receivers hands, Quality Print was re created by an entrepreneur who had bought the building in a fire sale only months earlier, hoping that Quality Print would be a worthwhile tenant
As healthy as the continuation of the Excellence Awards recognizing businesses within the taupe town center there were two new categories open to businesses district wide that recognized and celebrated success. Products carrying the FCC label are independently certified to assure consumers that they arrive from forests that are managed to face the social, economic and ecological needs of present and future generations.
Quality Print runs both a state of art Digital Press alongside large Offset Presses catering for both insignificant and important print runs. Participating organizations regularly produce a public environmental statement that reports on their environmental performance. If you have designed a piece of artwork yourself, supply the artwork to our designers for our Ore press service. We can also print your own designed invites on a important array of diverse and specialty stocks.

Our designers come from various backgrounds, generous you a knowledgeable team who can create the flawless artwork for your needs.
